Her i Norge er vi omkranset av "uberørt" natur, og får kanskje ikke et reelt blikk på hvor lite natur som gjenstår på planeten. Ingeborg Annie Lindahl (f. 1981 Harstad) vil fortsette sin fordypning omkring hvordan mennesker verdsetter varighet. Da Lindahl startet å arbeide med kalk var det grunnet materialets forgjengelighet og tanker for utvisking. Igjennom kritt-tegningenes skapelsesprosess undersøker Lindahl paradokset mellom å se på natur som et objekt og gjenstand som kan studeres kontrollert og konstruert vs natur som ukjent og uhemmet. Kritt og tavle er symboler på forskning og formidling av kunnskapsparadigme som fortsatt påvirker vår virkelighetsforståelse.
In Norway we are surrounded by "untouched" nature, but might not have the real glance on how little nature that's left on our planet. Ingeborg Annie Lindahl (dob. 1981, Harstad) will continue on the specialization about how people value duration. When Lindahl started her work with white chalk, the reason was how perishable it is and erasure of the material. Through the chalk-drawings creation-process Lindahl examines the paradox between seeing nature as an object or a subject for controlled and constructed studies vs. nature as unknown and unrestrained. Chalk and board are symbols for research and dissemination of a knowledge-paradigm that continues to affect our understanding of reality. For the first exhibition in Hammerfest Lindahl will look closer at "Håja", an island outside Hammerfest.
